In the words of the great David Goggins they truly qualify as the Uncommon amongst uncommon people. I believe that in a lot of cases good fitness practitioners aren't as good trainers; likewise, a lot of good fitness trainers aren't very high profile practitioners, but FBH is the full package. This isn't a hyperbole, by any stretch of the imagination. They at all times are leading their classes by example, as all great leaders should, and leaves nothing to chance.
My favourite class held by them is the Pilates Core. I was completely taken aback by notion of breathing into different parts inside the body. It does sound a little funny when, for the first time, you hear: "Breathe into your hip." But then comes a moment when you are curled in child's pose and you manage to do it. Followed by that "wow" shout. Another astonishing concept was "sucking in the core" while doing abs, which was never explained to me in all my years of training. And it worked wonders for my stability and posture.
Thanks to FBH I realized the importance of centerline and after just a handful of classes I was able to utilize the rotation of my upper body more efficiently to throw that perfect cross.
If you are a competitive athlete which seeks to integrate different types of exercises to achieve mutually complementary effects than I wholeheartedly recommend FBH classes. They will serve as a perfect way to complement your various training regimens.
If you are a recreational athlete then taking their classes only will be enough for you to achieve a desired form.
When history books of Ontario are written, I believe Fitness Beauty Health will find their place as a kind of reformer of the way we go about exercise. The emphasis they put on integration of alignment, movement and, simply put, love for what you do will be taught in Canadian schools one day in the future.
