Juice Beauty Skin

Clean skin care brand spotlight: Juice Beauty

It has always been important to me to use natural products on my face and body. I have been reading ingredient lists for as long as I can remember to have a sense of what I am putting on my skin. While I have also tried many non-organic products I always come back to natural solutions. My skin and senses prefer essential oils over artificial fragrance with ingredients I know. I have noticed I tend to break out and sometimes develop dermatitis when I use chemical products reinforcing my appreciation for natural alternatives. I love to shop at health and grocery store beauty sections for clean personal hygiene items that do not break the bank.
Being mindful of what my skin is absorbing led me to Juice Beauty over 14 years ago. This brand is a staple in my skincare routine and my go to for clean and hydrated skin care. The products come from a farm that Juice Beauty owns in Healdsburg, California providing fresh, nourishing ingredients that my skin drinks in. The brand owner Karen Behnke believes organically farmed ingredients contain higher, resveratrol rich antioxidant concentrations and that clean, vitamin rich alpha-hydroxy acids from grape and apple promote beautiful skin. You can read about their farm and formulation at juicebeauty.com/pages/about-us and pick up some products to try on their website, or at Sephora, Ulta US and Whole Foods.
Here are the top Juice Beauty products we love:

Stem Cellular Vinifera Replenishing oil: This is my number one Juice Beauty must have but also my favourite facial oil ever. I use this product as a moisturizer everyday morning and evening around my eyes and on my face. Packed with vitamin c and resveratrol rich grape it balances the lipid profile penetrating the skin without clogging pores. The vinifera oil also contains fruit stems cells, rich macadamia and squalene with pomegranate seed and vitamin e providing critical antioxidant protection. The consistency is light and will not cause breakouts but best of all it is certified organic on delicate skin.

Bamboo Pore Refining face mask: This deep cleansing face mask resurfaces with gentle exfoliation and clears up clogged pores without stripping moisture. It goes on as a dark clay mask, but the skin does not feel dried out or tight while it works its magic cleaning away congestion. It contains bamboo, charcoal, and kaolin clay exfoliating through polyhydroxy acid, a great alternative to chemical exfoliation.

Stem Cellular Lifting Neck Cream & anti-wrinkle moisturizer: This moisturizer targets fine lines and wrinkles to smooth and tighten, improving elasticity with all natural ingredients. I purchased this because I experienced atopic dermatitis on my neck which was dry, red and patchy, which cleared from Juice Beauty in a couple days. I could not believe how silky and smoothing my skin became. I now use this as a body moisturizer because it delivers so much moisture.

Organic Treatment oil: The organic treatment oil is great for the body, neck and hands. It delivers hydration from cranberry and carrot seed blended with essential fatty acids. The treatment oil feeds skin nutrient, rich essential-fatty acids of borage and linseed with a delicate primrose fragrance that is my favourite smell of all the Juice Beauty products. This product is my signature face, neck, body oil.

Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Eye treatment gel: This certified organic gel eye treatment delivers nutrients & vitamins C, E, & B5 to the delicate eye area with jojoba, shea and zero artificial fragrance or dyes. I have always been extremely vigilant about natural products around the eye area because the skin is so thin it doesn’t seem right to burden it with chemicals. This cooling gel moisturizes and wakes up tired eyes.
